What email address do I use for my kids’ account?

Helium Mobile does collect and store any email address provided for an account. We recommend discretion if using an email address of someone under the age of 18.

For children under 13, many email providers offer family-linked accounts that comply with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act). Some options include Gmail, iCloud, and Microsoft Outlook, which have options that provide parental controls specifically designed for kids.

The listed email providers are commonly cited as COPPA-compliant or suitable for use by children under the age of 13 with parental involvement. We are not affiliated with these services and do not endorse them. Please review each provider’s terms and privacy policies to ensure they meet your specific needs.

Does my child's Kids Plan earn Cloud Points?

Yes! Kids Plans earn Cloud Points. All Cloud Points earned on a Kids Plan will be automatically added to the Group Admin's Cloud Point balance.

A child on a Helium Mobile Kids Plan is not eligible to redeem points in the Cloud Store. A Group Admin (over the age of 18) may redeem points in the Cloud Store on their behalf through their own account.

Can my child on a Kids Plan participate in the Referral Program?

No, a subscriber under the age of 18 is not eligible to participate in any Referral Programs.

How does the Kids Plan help parents monitor or control their child’s phone activity?

Parents can monitor their child’s calls, texts, and data usage directly in the Helium Mobile App. Just open the app and select the child’s line from the group to view their activity.
