Helium Mobile is Being Acquired by Andrew Yang’s Noble Mobile

To our subscribers, first and foremost, thank you.

Since 2023, you've trusted us with something that matters: staying connected to the people, places, and moments that fill your day. That's not a small thing, and we've never taken it for granted. Every call, every text, every scroll on the couch. You chose us to be part of it. We're grateful, and we don't say that lightly.

Today we have some big news to share. Helium Mobile is being acquired by Noble Mobile. As a part of this acquisition, Noble Mobile has also committed to use the Helium Network, the world’s largest people-powered network, giving Noble Mobile subscribers access to even more coverage across the US.

Noble Mobile, founded in 2025 by entrepreneur and former US Presidential candidate Andrew Yang, launched as the first carrier to pay you to use your phone less. The cost of staying connected has never mattered more, and Noble Mobile shares our belief that affordable connectivity shouldn't be the exception – it should be the standard.

That belief doesn't change with this acquisition and by joining forces, we can carry that mission further than either of us could alone. And through every step of this transition, our priority remains making sure you're taken care of, for the long haul.

What does this mean for me?

The transition has been designed from the ground up to be as smooth as possible, with no scrambling and no lost coverage. Subscribers can keep their phone numbers and expect the same high-quality service they’re used to, powered by the same nationwide 5G network and the Helium Network. Behind the scenes, we've done the heavy lifting with Noble Mobile so that the experience on your end is as seamless as we can possibly make it.

Why we're making this change

We want to take a moment to explain the why, because we'd rather walk you through it than leave you guessing.

When we launched Helium Mobile in 2023, we had a bigger mission than to just be another carrier. For decades, the way you got coverage was the same everywhere: a handful of giant companies built giant towers, and you paid them for access. This meant connectivity was expensive, slow to evolve, and concentrated in very few hands.

We believed there was a better way. One where people could help build the network themselves, and where people-powered coverage could work hand-in-hand with traditional carriers to give subscribers something better than either could deliver alone. Helium Mobile was how we put that idea to the test where it counts: on real phones, in real hands, in cities across the country.

And it worked. The people-powered Helium Network connecting your phone plan now helps carry traffic for millions of people across the US and Mexico every single day, including subscribers of Helium Mobile and 2 of the 3 biggest US carriers who've never heard the word "Helium" in their lives. That's exactly how connectivity is supposed to work: ubiquitously, reliably, in the background, making your phone just… do its job. If you've been a Helium Mobile subscriber, you've been part of proving this model isn't just possible. It's already here.

With that proven, the Helium team is entering its next phase: building an intelligent connectivity platform that takes everything the Helium Network has demonstrated and opens it up so any carrier or connected service can build on it, including Noble Mobile. This acquisition puts you in the best possible hands while we focus entirely on the Helium Network platform that makes connectivity more accessible and affordable for everyone.

Thank you, sincerely

Helium Mobile exists because people like you were willing to try something new. You picked us when you had every other option in the world, and you stuck with us as we figured things out, shipped updates, and grew. That meant everything, and it's the reason any of what comes next is possible.

We're proud of what we built together. We're confident you're going to be well taken care of by Noble Mobile. And we're more excited than ever about what's ahead for the Helium Network and the people it's going to connect, a group that we hope very much continues to include you.

Thank you for being part of the journey.
